Twinkle Toe Tots

  • 18 months - 3 Years Old (Guardian Participation Required)

Our class introduces your tot to dance class with the comfort of a guardian! The dancer will be taught rhythm, coordination, class room etiquette, and basic ballet fundamentals with fun and interactive methods! The guardian will guide the dancer throughout the class to help build trust, confidence, and independence! 

(This class will NOT participate in the recital)

Tiny Dancers

  • 3 & 4 Years Old

 

Our Tiny Dancers class introduces your little one to creative movement, rhythm, and coordination. Your tiny dancer will be taught the basic fundamentals in ballet and tap with fun and interactive learning methods! 

(The class will have a ballet and tap dance that will be performed in the recital)

Tumbling Tots

  • 2.5 - 4 Years Old

 

Our Tumbling Tots class introduces your little one to Acrobatic Dance. The class will include a warm up and stretch, balance exercises, and acrobatic skills. During the class, the dancers will use tumbling mats for safety and to best execute their skills.

(This class will NOT participate in the recital)

 

Classical Combo 

  • Classical Combo I (Beginner - 2 years of dance experience. Approximately Kindergarten)

  • Classical Combo II (Beginner - 3 years of dance experience. Approximately 1st grade)

 

Our Classical Combo class teaches the basic fundamentals and skills in the classical dance styles: ballet, tap, and jazz. In addition, the dancers will be taught dance terminology and performance quality. The class will be split into three segments allowing the dancer to be educated in the three classical styles. The ballet portion will include barre’ exercises and center and across the floor adagio and allegro, helping your dancer find grace and poise. The jazz portion will include balance exercises, turns, leaps, jumps, and fun, energetic jazz combinations allowing the dancer’s personality to shine! The tap portion will included a graduated ankle warm up, center and across the floor tap rhythmic skills, and a combination challenging the dancers in precision. We believe combining these three classical dance styles is a solid learning foundation to create a well-rounded dancer.

(This class will have two dances performed in the recital)

Classical Combo (Morning Class)

  • Primary Classical Combo (Beginner - 2 years dance experience. Approximately 5-7 years old)

  • Junior Classical Combo (Beginner - 3 years dance experience. Approximately 8-12 years old)

  • This class is scheduled in the morning for families with children who are homeschooled or taking hybrid classes with morning availability in their schedule

Our Classical Combo class teaches the basic fundamentals and skills in the three classical dance styles: ballet, tap, and jazz. In addition, the dancers will be taught dance terminology and performance quality. The class will be split into three segments allowing the dancer to be educated in the three classical styles. Acro-Dance

  • Beginner Level (Beginner - 1 years experience. Approximately Kindergarten - 1st grade)

  • Level I (must have a cartwheel, handstand, and bridge without a spot. Approximately 2nd - 4th grade)

  • Level II/III (must have a cartwheel, handstand, back bend [going down & coming up] without a spot. Approximately 5th grade +)

 

Our Acro-Dance class will focus on acro skills, terminology, and teach the dancers the fundamentals of acrobatics. During the class, the dancers will use tumbling mats for safety and to best execute skills. The class will include a warm up and stretch, strengthening and balance exercises, lifts, tumbling, and center/across the floor combinations. 

(This class will have one dance performed in the recital)

 

Ballet 

  • Level I (beginner – 2 years experience. Approximately 2nd - 3rd grade)

  • Level II (3 – 4 years experience. Approximately 4th – 6th grade)

  • Level III (5+ years of experience. Approximately 7th grade +)

Our ballet classes will focus on ballet technique, terminology, and teach the dancer grace and poise. The class will include barre’ execution exercises to strengthen the legs, ankles, and feet, center/across the floor adagio and allegro, and ballet combinations teaching performance quality and precision.  

(This class will have one dance performed in the recital)

Pointe​​

  • Level I/II (5 years or more of ballet experience. Approximately 7th grade and up)

This class will focus on pointe technique, skills, and terminology. The class will include barre' exercises to strengthen the legs, ankles, and feet. It will also include center and across the floor adagio and allegro challenging the dancer in strength, grace, and poise. Must be enrolled in Level III Ballet and Stretch Condition.

(This class will have one dance performed in the recital) 

Jazz 

  • Level I (beginner – 2 years experience. Approximately 2nd - 3rd grade)

  • Level II (3 – 4 years experience. Approximately 4th – 6th grade)

  • Level III (5+ years of experience. Approximately 7th grade +)

 

Our jazz classes will focus on jazz skills, terminology, and teach the dancers performance quality allowing their personality to shine! The class will include a warm up and stretch, isolations, balance exercises, leaps, jumps, turns, and center/across the floor combinations. Jazz classes encourage dancers to bring on the pizazz!

Tap

  • Level I/II (beginner - 3 years experience. Approximately 2nd - 5th grade)

 

Our Tap classes will focus on tap skills, terminology, and teach the dancers rhythm and precision. The class will include a graduated warm up to loosen the legs, knees, and ankles to perform the proper execution of skills. It will teach the dynamics of rhythm and varying sounds, across the floor progressions, and center combinations.

Lyrical/Contemporary Fusion

  • Level I (beginner – 2 years experience. Approximately 2nd - 3rd grade)

  • Level II (3 – 4 years experience. Approximately 4th – 6th grade)

  • Level III (5+ years of experience. Approximately 7th grade +)

Our Lyrical/Contemporary Fusion class will focus on lyrical and contemporary skills, terminology, and teach the dancers how to connect emotionally to the music and movement portraying a message. The class will include a warm up and stretch, balance exercises, floor work, lifts, turns, jumps, and center/across the floor combinations challenging the dancers with contrasting movement qualities. The class will integrate “Hawkins Technique” which teaches the philosophy that dance should integrate the body, mind, and soul while always following scientific principles.

Hip Hop

  • Beginner Level (Beginner - 1 years experience. Approximately Kindergarten - 1st grade)

  • Level I (Beginner  - 2 years experience Approximately 2nd - 4th grade)

  • Level II/III (2 years + experience. Approximately 5th grade +)


During the class the dancers will learn the style and technique of hip hop. It includes street styles such as popping, locking, and breaking which challenges the dancers in movement and coordination. The dancers will be taught the fundamentals, across the floor, and center combinations. (This class has one dance in the recital.)

 

       

Branch Out Dance Academy Company

Branch Out Dance Academy’s competitive company is offered by invitation or audition only. 

What does it mean to be a company member at Branch Out Dance Academy? Company members are held to a very high standard. We expect our company dancers to be the role models of our studio! Our company members will be taught outstanding technique and choreography, given unique performance opportunities, and gain friendships and life lessons along the way. The members must not only be committed to dance, but committed to their teammates and instructors, and setting a good example within our community. 

Private Lessons

Private lessons are offered to students interested in progressing their dance skills at a more rapid rate. Sessions will be catered to each dancer individually for their specific goal. Please contact us for more information.
